Today I am joining in with Suzanne's weekly Friday's Fave Five. Suzanne's blog is called Living To Tell The Story... Come join in the fun!
1. On New Years Eve Day I posted this.... It is a list of my goals for the new year. It is fave because I have actually been making progress toward my goals. Did you make any goals for 2012?
2. My daughter was home visiting from her home in the BIG city in Eastern US... It was nice to have her home. We are both refreshed and it helped to start our new year with a happy heart.
3. Although our break from school and teaching was short in comparison to many other places...we are all glad to be back at our routine...we are creatures of routine... So life is good with regular dinner times, good meals, homework and TV shows starting a new!
4. One of my resolutions was to...of course...work out or increase my excersising...and I have and I feel good. We have a local Community College that has a pretty decent fitness center. So I have been running on the treadmill and using some nautilus type machines.
5. I signed up for and will start next week...a Spanish class at the above mentioned Community College. My dh works there so we get some "free" credits! This class is totally online which makes me a bit nervous. I have to go get my book and some other "things" and then be ready to start on Wednesday! I am actually anxiously excited! Wish me luck!
So there you have my first week in January's favorite things...

A wonderful Friday 5 list Beth.
I'm with you, I am craving our routines!!
Happy weekend my friend.
Love your fives! Well, maybe not the working out thing, hahaha. I get so tired from my daycare that I don't feel like doing ANYTHING after they leave...though we do have "exercise time" and it's fun to watch them try the exercises. Good luck with your resolutions!
I was working out regularly last year until having a back injury, then never did get back to it during the holidays. I need to, though. It didn't help as much in the weight dept. as I had hoped, but it did give me more stamina.
My son visited from RI, too -- so nice to have him, so hard to put him back on the plane!
Good for you for signing up for a class!
Many of us are singing the praises of a routine. It's good to have our kids come and visit, too. I love Happy Hearts! Have a great weekend.
Such a positive, fun post!
Wow, you have lots of fun things on the go for this new year. Fitness goals and spanish classes...good for you for taking on challenges.
Although I miss the easier going days of holidays, I do like some routine to my days too.
Have fun with your Spanish class! I sometimes think about doing a refresher...or learning Italian, for some reason I really want to learn Italian. :)
I'm glad you spent some time with your girl when she was home. I know that's always a blessing to me. Hurray for the workouts--what a great resolve
Great list! Great list of goals as well. Good luck with them.
